Terms of use
The terms that apply when you use the OFC Complaints Portal, including acceptable use and the limits of the service.
Using this portal
This portal is provided by the Office of Financial Conduct (OFC) of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank so consumers can submit and track complaints about Licensed Financial Institutions, and so firms and partner bodies can respond to them.
Accurate information
You must provide accurate and complete information. Knowingly submitting false or misleading information may result in a complaint being closed and may be reported to the relevant authority.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload malicious files or attempt to circumvent access controls.
- Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive or infringes another person's rights.
- Do not use automated means to scrape, overload or disrupt the service.
- Keep your account credentials confidential and report suspected misuse immediately.
What this service is not
The OFC assesses complaints under its statutory mandate. Nothing on this portal is legal advice, and use of the portal does not create a legal relationship beyond the handling of your complaint. Time limits that affect whether a complaint can be accepted are explained in the eligibility checker and the complaint guide.
Availability
We aim to keep the portal available at all times, but maintenance and events beyond our control may interrupt access. If an interruption prevented you from submitting something in time, contact us.
Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be announced on the portal. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
